Saw a sign at the store advertising "Ugli Fruit, 2/$3!" Thought I'd give it a whirl.

Originally discovered in the wild in Jamaica around 1920, it is believed to be a hybrid of the Seville orange, the grapefruit and the tangerine. Has a mellow sweetness and subtle tang.
