This is the final project for my Picture Story class, the capstone course in the Photojournalism sequence. I will come back and talk about this when I've had a little more sleep and a little more time, but for now, let me say that I think this is the best work I've done so far in my career. I don't think I could have shot this when I first got to Mizzou or even at the beginning of my semester. I plan to keep working with my subject on a long-term project and am forever grateful for his openness and candidness. I appreciate the trust he had in me to tell his story and hope I did it justice.
